Holds one 4oz stick of butter. Water in base creates an airtight seal so butter stays fresh. Softened butter is easier to measure for making recipes Materials: ceramic with scratch-free glaze Care: Dishwasher safe Use: Press softened butter into lid, add 1/4 cup cold water into base and put lid on. Store butter on counter/table and replace water every couple days.
